Will certain foods be good for your skin?
According to Dr. Simon Ourian, Medical Director of Epione Beverly Hills, some foods have a positive impact on the skin. See pictures here
Foods like citrus fruits are rich in vitamin C
and bioflavonoids.
Then the sweet potato, being full of beta-carotene which promotes cell trunover.
And the tomato, possessing the powerful antioxidant lycopene, which protects the skin against to much sun exposure.
Leafy green vegetables such as cabbage and spinach also protect your skin from developing inflammation or wrinkles due to sunlight exposure.
